Salon Front End Lead Coordinator

We are looking for a Front End Lead Coordinator to help manage day to day operations at Keema Salon, a LANZA Healing Center.

As a Front End Lead Coordinator, you will be working closely with the Salon Manager to ensure that the salon operates smoothly. To be successful in this role, you should be interested in beauty trends and familiar with hair salon operations.

Ultimately, you will be a part of our team that offers the highest quality customer service experience to our guests, every visit, every time.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure day-to-day salon operations run smoothly
  • Chat with customers, learn their preferences and build good relationships
  • Monitor stock of beauty products and order supplies as needed
    Intake all inventory and manage inventory counts
  • Help manage inventory and maintain Inventory control (count, description, pricing, placement, display, etc.)
  • Will carry extensive knowledge of our retail brands and offer suggestions to guests
  • Assist in supporting our front end team with all Phorest software needs
  • Organize trainings for new receptionists
  • Will work directly with salon manager to share, plan and execute ways to increase salon revenue by:
    • Assisting in ideas to improve our social media promotions and offers.
    • Recommend seasonal promotions and discount packages to increase our clientele
    • Offering recommendations of products and services to all guests to support retail sales
    • Gather feedback from our clients and make sure they have a pleasant guest experience in our salon


Requirements and skills

  • Work experience as a Lead Associate or similar role in the beauty industry
  • Experience in excellent customer service is a plus
  • Up-to-date with hair trends (e.g. colors and styles)
  • Basic knowledge of Excel and scheduling software
  • Record-keeping skills
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage shifts and appointments
  • Familiarity with social media
  • Additional certification in Cosmetology or relevant field is a plus
  • Must be available to work some nights and Saturdays
