Job DescriptionJob Description

Seeking a Production Associate with Kitting experience to ensure that kitting materials are properly tracked and managed in the inventory system, controlled labels are properly generated and reconciled, and job travelers printed in a timely manner for upcoming production orders in accordance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions. Excellent pay and benefits.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure that materials inventoried in the Kitting Room are properly managed/stored, picked, kitted/staged, and assigned to designated jobs; Kitting Associate shall ensure that issued quantities are clearly and accurately documented on applicable documents/job travelers, and that all material returns are properly documented on applicable documents and tracked in the JobBoss ERP system;
  • Perform periodic/routine cycle counts of materials stocked in the Kitting Room, with the guidance/direction of the Supply Chain Manager. Reconcile any variances, and ensure that controls are in place to ensure inventory accuracy and traceability of controls; ensure that all inventoried materials, included over-issuance, returns, and in-process rejections are properly accounted for on a daily basis;
  • Generate controlled production labels for packaging and shipping requirements; initiate and properly complete the Label Accountability Form, as required and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and applicable work instructions;
  • Manage the Kanban controls/restocking of consumable supplies maintained in the Kitting Room and coordinate with the Purchasing Team on reorder requirements;
  • Collaborate with Production Planning, and ensure that upcoming job travelers are printed and initiated in a timely manner to facilitate the flow of production planning and execution;
  • Accurately complete all designated paperwork and forms, in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Ensure compliance to written procedures and ISO requirements;
  • Maintains a safe, clean, and professional working environment;
  • Perform in process quality checks as may be required;
  • May be required to assemble and/or kit light medical parts/components per documented procedures and work instructions; package work-in-process (WIP) and finished goods, per packaging instructions;
  • Other support duties, as assigned.

 

 

 

Requirements

 

1. 2 or more years of Light Assembly, Packing, and Shipping experience.
