Collaborating closely with food industry professionals, you'll deliver exemplary service and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a diverse range of commercial kitchen appliances, such as ovens, ranges, fryers, refrigerators, and dishwashers.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance to uphold equipment performance and longevity.
- Install new kitchen equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
- Effectively communicate with restaurant staff and management to address needs promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and service calls using designated systems.
- Manage truck stock levels, ensuring necessary supplies are on hand for repairs and installations.
- Keep service truck orderly, well-equipped, and clean for efficient operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, nurturing strong client relationships and bolstering company reputation.
- Attend company training sessions to stay informed about industry trends and best practices in commercial kitchen maintenance.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; completion of technical school or apprenticeship in appliance repair preferred.
- CEFSA Certifications highly valued.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment, with a preference for 5 years of experience.
- EPA certification necessary for technicians handling refrigerants.
- Proficient in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
- Ability to comprehend and apply technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Competence in utilizing various hand and power tools.
- Excellent communication and customer service aptitude.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
