We have an opening for 2 temporary assemblers with some prior electronics hand assembly experience. This job will last for approximately three months.
We are a fun company that has been in continuous business in San Diego for 35 years. We're looking for people who enjoy working with other tech-minded individuals.
What You’ll do as a Production Assembler:
Production Assemblers perform electro-mechanical assembly of various electronic or electrical units or systems within a demand flow production environment. Maintain assigned inventory Kanban locations. Focus on quality and continuous improvement in a production environment.
Technical skills:
1. Electro-mechanical assembly experience.
2. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, test procedures, assembly
drawings, wiring diagrams, and operation method sheets.
3. Ability to operate basic hand and power tools.
4. Basic computer knowledge.
5. Soldering skills (Thru Hole and SMT) – nice to have.
Performance Skills:
1. Able to work effectively in a demand flow-manufacturing environment as a team
member on a production line.
2. Flexibility to perform various operations within a production line to maintain flow of work.
3. Good communication (verbal and written).
4. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Education and Experience:
1. High School education or equivalent desired.
2. Prior experience in production line experience in an electronics-manufacturing environment is desired.
3. Ability to interface with internal and external staff in a courteous and professional manner.
4. Ability to prioritize projects and meet critical deadlines.
5. Schedule is 6am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday, but might flex to fewer days or hours as business requires
As these positions are temporary, there are no company benefits provided, except those required by law.
We are not offering sponsorship for this role.
Shift Schedule 6am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday
Willing to work overtime, if requested
