Job Description:
As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for the assembly of hardware components for advanced technology products. Your expertise will be utilized in various tasks including the use of soldering tools, hotplates, crimping devices, and torque drivers.
This role demands a strong focus on quality and meticulous attention to detail in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret assembly drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), wire lists, engineering change orders, and rework instructions.
- Function as a fully proficient individual contributor, working with limited supervision and providing guidance to peers in your areas of expertise.
- Execute moderately complex assignments that require sound judgment.
- Perform tasks under a microscope, including component tinning using a solder pot.
- Conduct hand soldering of Surface Mount Technology (SMT), through-hole, and fine pitch components, along with wiring tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including epoxy application and conformal coating.
- Engage in mechanical assembly utilizing torque drivers.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Plan and manage work schedules in alignment with hardware production requirements.
- Oversee the manufacturing processes for one or more product lines.
- Bring a minimum of six years of SMT soldering experience to the role.
- Possess familiarity with wiring, harness assembly, and coaxial cable assembly.
- Preference will be given to candidates with J-STD-001 Class certification.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of six years of relevant experience, or a post-secondary/Associate's degree with at least two years of relevant experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend documentation, drawings, and process control instructions.- Proven experience in soldering techniques.
- Basic computing skills in a Windows environment are necessary.
- Capability to obtain necessary security clearance.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $51,500 - $68,500.
This range is not a guarantee of compensation, as the final offer may vary based on factors such as experience and geographic location.
