Your Responsibilities:
As a Production Assembler, you will:
- Effectively perform all tasks associated with the role of an Assembler I.
- Interpret and understand schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
- Prepare cables by cutting, stripping, and crimping according to schematic specifications.
- Assemble panel boards with materials and components as outlined in the schematic layout.
- Wire panel boards following the provided wiring diagrams.
- Utilize labeling diagrams to print and affix labels to projects.
- Identify and resolve issues encountered during assembly.
- Engage in basic software programming in line with customer requirements.
- Conduct ground bar testing to confirm the absence of shortages.
- Maintain a tidy and safe workspace by adhering to established procedures and regulations.
- Document production and quality actions through the completion of relevant forms.
What You Bring:
We prefer candidates with:
- Experience in electrical, industrial, or distribution sectors, though it is not mandatory.
- A High School diploma or G.E.D.; or
- At least 6 months of relevant experience and/or training; or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Requirements:
- Forklift certification (internal).
- Willingness to work varied hours as needed.
- Ability to participate in mandatory physical inventory.
- Capability to work in extreme temperatures and dusty environments.
- Proficiency in using power tools, including drills and impact drivers.
