Join Our Team: Senior Land Design Engineer through Applied Resource Group
Are you a detail-oriented engineer with a passion for land design? Our client is seeking a Senior Land Design Engineer to join our dynamic southeast team. As they expand their footprint in the region and collaborate with diverse clients, they seek someone who thrives in a high-achieving, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Completing civil engineering designs, including site layout, grading, storm drainage, and water/sewer utilities.
Handling erosion and sediment control.
Implementing stormwater best management practices.
Preparing Civil 3D plans, technical deliverables, and reports.
Navigating municipal and state permitting processes.
Client Support:
Evaluate designs to address constructability, code compliance, and site challenges.
Collaborate with architects, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers.
Conduct site visits and coordinate with survey crews, SUE (Subsurface Utility Engineering), and geotechnical teams.
Provide periodic construction support, including reviewing RFIs (Requests for Information) and shop drawings.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Required: Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Skills & Experience:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-starter comfortable working both independently and within a team.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
Proactive problem-solving with client-focused solutions.
Familiarity with regulatory agencies and review processes.
3-8+ years of related experience in civil engineering.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, WaterCAD, and MS Office.
The Role:
Hybrid Office: This position offers a mix of office and remote work. You can choose from several exciting locations, including Jacksonville, Florida; Orlando, Florida; Tampa, Florida; or Atlanta, Georgia.
