- Adhere to quality system and documentation during design phase.
- Basic understanding of electrical components, circuitry, communications methods (RS232, Bluetooth) and descriptive terms used for these items.
- Basic understanding of what is involved in the software development process (Mobile apps and firmware).
- Product design cost optimization & quality.
- Ability to create and maintain BOMs in NetSuite.
- Maintaining competitive knowledge of the trucking industry for the development of new products and application of current products.
- Research and maintain knowledge of sensing methods and data connectivity types that apply to our industry.
- Designing and improving current products & assembly lines.
- Respond appropriately and provide solutions and feedback to customer requests.
- Respond to customer technical calls or emails that escalate from the Customer Success Team.
- Problem-solve customer technical service issues.
- Be the go-to expert for our products and applications, and coach staff as needed.
