We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Insurance Defense Paralegal to join our client's dynamic legal team. The ideal paralegal will have a strong background in insurance defense litigation and will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to our attorneys.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with case management from inception through trial.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information and documents.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and client meetings.
  • Prepare and organize case files, exhibits, and trial binders.
  • Summarize depositions, medical records, and other documents.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, and court personnel.
  • Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • DE experience a must.
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, principles, and procedures.
  • Proficient in legal research and writing.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
