Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join our team in New Castle, PA. As a Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting our attorneys in a fast-paced, energetic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in conducting real estate due diligence, including title review, zoning analysis, and easement research.
  • Draft and review real estate transaction documents, such as purchase agreements, leases, easements, and construction agreements.
  • Draft and review legal contracts, and review and analyze title policies, surveys, etc.
  • Establish relationships with local title companies.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel on complex legal issues.
  • Prepare HUD statements.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Assist in asset valuation.
  • Draft and review wills, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and living wills.
  • Prepare documents and assist with creating and transferring assets into trusts to ease probate process.
  • Prepare inheritance tax returns.
  • Field and initiate telephone calls.

Requirements
  • High School or GED diploma.
  • 2- or 4-year degree preferred.
  • 2 to 5 years' paralegal experience.
  • Paralegal certification.
  • Strong understanding of real estate transaction documents and procedures.
  • Able to read, write, and speak the English language fluently.
