CornerStone has partnered with a local company in their search for a Finance Director to join their growing team.  This position is instrumental in the support to the CFO, as his direct report, as well as updating, reporting and strategic planning of financials and providing presentations to the Board of Directors.  The Finance Director will lead a team of 5 employees in Accounting, Financial Reporting, Grant Accounting, Audit and Payroll for the company.   We are seeking a CPA with a strong background in transactional accounting with the ability to lead and mentor their team. 

Requirements for the Finance Director:

  • CPA in the state of Texas
  • Master Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field highly desired
  • 5+ years managing Finance and Accounting
  • Persons with a strong background in and knowledge of grant accounting and fiscal reporting
  • Experienced in handling Audits; 403B, Single Audit and Financial Audit.  They just started their 403B audit this week and the others will start in early fall
  • Must have experience leading a team of 4-7 people
  • Prefer prior experience working for a non-profit
  • Must have strong transactional accounting background with oversight of 12 accounts; general ledger, financials, credit cards, bank reconciliations and invoices
  • Prior experience handling a budget of $10M or more
  • Must be technically savvy with the ability wo work in Microsoft Office, donor based CRM’s and MIP/Abila

  • Location: Fort Worth, TX 76107
  • Salary: $105K-$110K
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm
