About Us:
Blackstar Construction is an owner-builder fund specializing in mid-rise multifamily
construction and low-rise commercial buildings. With a focus on quality and efficiency, we
deliver exceptional projects that meet the highest standards of design and functionality. We are
looking for a dedicated and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team and lead
our multifamily projects to success.


Position Overview:
We are seeking a disciplined and self-motivated Construction Project Manager with a strong
background in multifamily construction. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience
managing mid-rise multifamily projects from inception through completion. You will be
responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process, ensuring projects are
completed on time, within budget, and to our exacting standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multifamily construction projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and budgeting, ensuring all milestones are met.
  • Monitor construction progress and resolve issues to maintain project timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the project team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on multifamily construction.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing mid-rise multifamily projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in construction management software and project scheduling tools.
