Scheduling Manager

Job DescriptionJob Description

Qualifications: Experience within the home care industry is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate has previous experience scheduling, is comfortable answering and placing phone calls, and is proficient with a computer while also willing to learn the Agency's internal software. The candidate should also possess a friendly demeanor so they can effectively interact with agency clients and employees.

  1. The Manager will handle the care schedules for all Agency clients and communicate schedule changes to clients in a timely manner.
  2. The Manager shall ensure that all clients have replacement coverage due to caregiver scheduled or unscheduled absence(s).
  3. The Manager will contact clients regarding any scheduling changes/inquiries/issues.
  4. The Manager shall ensure all Agency caregivers are working their desired schedules.
  5. The Manager will answer inbound calls/emails and place outbound calls/emails to clients and employees.
  6. The Manager shall handle caregiver credentialing, as needed, which includes reaching out to caregivers for current credentials and updating Agency systems with updated documents.
  7. The Manager will perform general office duties including but not limited to word processing, making photocopies, filing and shredding of documents, and telephone services.
  8. The Manager shall be available to handle in- and out-bound calls during non-office hours.
  9. The Manager must maintain customer and employee confidence and protect operations by keeping internal information confidential.
  10. The Manager will work Monday through Friday in our Lutherville-Timonium office - business hours are 8am to 5pm. The position is not remote or hybrid.
