We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Track and Trace Specialist. As a Track and Trace Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to accurately track and monitor load shipments, ensuring smooth operations throughout the logistics process. This is a great entry-level position to get a handle on how ALS operates and to learn the industry

Pay: $17.60 / hour + monthly bonus up to $500 for hitting Key Performance Indicators

Hours: This shift 6PM - 6AM 12 hour shift - Wednesday - Friday and every other Saturday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize tracking systems and tools to monitor the movement of shipments and identify any potential issues or delays.
  • Follow our established escalation process to address and resolve any shipment-related issues promptly.
  • Collaborate closely with team members, including logistics coordinators and drivers, to ensure effective communication and alignment.
  • Accurately update our internal systems and databases to reflect the current status and location of shipments.
  • Generate reports and provide regular updates to management regarding the progress and status of shipments.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in the tracking and tracing process and propose actionable solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies or irregularities in tracking information.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Preferred proficiency in using tracking systems, databases, and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to navigate through challenges and find suitable resolutions.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics terminology is a plus.
  • A high level of professionalism, integrity, and a customer-centric approach.
