Company Overview: We are a leading mental health treatment center in Pasadena, committed to providing compassionate and evidence-based care to individuals struggling with mental health issues. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Therapist to join our team.

Job Description: As a mental health Therapist, you will be responsible for providing individual and group therapy sessions to clients with mental health issues.

Employment Type: Part-time
Schedule: Wednesdays 12pm-130pm and Fridays 12pm-130pm
​ Pay Range: $110-150 per 90 min group (including notes)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual therapy sessions for clients with addiction and mental health challenges.
  • Lead group therapy sessions to address various aspects of addiction and recovery.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to create and implement personalized treatment plans.
  • Utilize the KIPU system to maintain accurate and up-to-date client records. (Training available).
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their challenges and work towards recovery.
  • Offer evidence-based interventions to promote personal growth and lasting recovery.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
  • Strong empathy, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Specific experience in mental health treatment and a deep understanding of substance abuse issues.
  • Familiarity and proficiency with the KIPU system.

Population: The therapist will primarily work with clients between the ages of 25 and 45 who are struggling with mental health and substance abuse challenges.

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 3-6 hours per week
