Essential Responsibilities

 

  • Oversee/prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Provide timely, accurate, and complete financial information to external auditors and tax preparers.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial information.

  • Strong work ethic with the ability to lead teams and accomplish goals.

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of accounting operations including: billing, A/R, A/P, G/L, inventory/cost Accounting, bank reconciliations, revenue recognition, and tax filings.

  • Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial, accounting and general business policies, procedures and controls to safeguard company assets, ensure complete, accurate and time reporting and maximize shareholder wealth.

  • Review and provide final approval of employee expense reports and credit card expense statements.

  • Develop annual budgets and monthly rolling financial forecasts, while monitoring budget versus actual performance. Challenge assumptions within that reporting and optimize potential opportunities.

  • Act as a strategic owner and problem solver of the business including helping drive necessary changes in both personnel expansion and technology adoptions.

  • Evaluate and implement ERP system to improve labor tracking, contract profitability and inventory management.

  • Data entry on a daily basis. 

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minimum of 5 years of Accounting and Finance leadership experience.

  • Computer literacy and proficiency with skills in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and payroll software.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience with JobBOSS a plus.
