The Probst Group is seeking a site-based Resident Project Representative to assist the Engineering Team. This role involves keeping construction projects on schedule and budget by working with the project contractors, the client, and the Probst Construction Manager and engineering team. This position is located at the project site and typically will change every 8-12 months.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Relocate to the job site for the duration of the project
  • Independently manage the construction phase of a wastewater treatment plant project
  • Keep the construction project on schedule and budget by working with the project contractors, the client, and the Probst Construction Manager and Engineering team
  • Support the Probst Engineering staff and clients by providing superb customer service and availability
  • Utilize Probst's collective knowledge base to solve construction-related field issues
  • Foster and maintain good relations with the contractor teams and Probst network of partners
  • Ensure implementation and compliance with site-specific health and safety programs at all times
  • Become familiar with the project design documents and project team within two weeks of hire
  • Establish site office, communications, and wastewater treatment plant equipment storage area on-site
  • Maintain client satisfaction
  • Maintain redline drawing sets for all trades for use in preparing as-built documents
  • Maintain all project documents - including RFIs, change orders, supplemental and shop drawings, health and safety program permits, etc.
Requirements:

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in construction supervision
  • Relocation to the job site - anticipated project duration, typically 8-12 months
  • Must hold a valid US driver's license
  • Full-cycle construction experience - with a strong background in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret construction documents including but not limited to contracts, drawings, P&IDs, and specifications
  • Experience with wastewater treatment equipment installations preferred, including blowers, pumps, motors, actuated valves, etc.
  • Understanding of wastewater treatment plant instrumentation and controls
  • Ability to work effectively and professionally with clients, engineering partners, and regulatory agencies
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ensure implementation and compliance with site-specific health and safety programs at all times

Preferred Experiences:

  • Previous experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar field, a plus
  • Familiarity with Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), a plus
