Job DescriptionJob Description

SUMMER HOURS - 4 DAY WORK WEEK

The Designer/Project Coordinator is responsible for gathering information for the sales staff and the client to create accurate drawings for the sales staff to estimate the project. After the sales staff closes the contract, it is this individual’s responsibility to complete accurate construction drawings, coordinate all activities related to the actual project including material, labor and subcontractors. This person is responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction throughout the project with the means of contract.

Position Responsibilities

  • Creating accurate conceptual drawings using Chief Architect Software and presenting to the client for approval
  • Provide written work scopes with specifications about the projects.
  • Completing the construction documents to the specifications that are agreed upon by the sales staff and the customer.
  • Procuring specialty products that are needed to facilitate the design.
  • Maintaining customer satisfaction throughout the project

Position Requirements

Chief Architect Software Proficiency

Must have good knowledge of home construction, computers, and appropriate software Must have good communication, job coordination and supervisory skills.

The ability to interact and communicate with crews, subcontractors and clients is crucial to this position.

Must have a reliable vehicle.

Must maintain a professional image, demonstrate a high level of integrity and confidentiality. Continually enhances personal and professional development.
