Position Overview: The Business Attorney will be responsible for providing legal guidance and support across various aspects of our business, including contract negotiation, intellectual property protection, compliance, and general corporate matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business law, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our team to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements, including client agreements, vendor contracts, and partnership agreements.
  • Provide legal advice on matters related to business operations, including corporate governance, compliance, intellectual property, employment law, and risk management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations that may impact the company.
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings and manage relationships with external legal counsel when necessary.
  • Collaborate with various departments to provide legal support and ensure alignment with business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the state of Arizona.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business law, preferably with a focus on contract negotiation, corporate governance, and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of intellectual property law and experience managing intellectual property portfolios.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of integrity and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with technology companies or in the digital marketing industry.
  • Familiarity with local search and online review management practices.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and cybersecurity regulations.
