Job Description

  • QA Tasks:
    • Work through assigned QA tasks using various patient platforms.
    • Follow pre-determined test scenarios to perform multiple rounds of quality testing.
    • Use designated testing documents (Excel) to compare written and audio content on patient platforms and identify discrepancies.
    • Clearly document and record found issues in testing documents for key stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams about testing progress and identified issues.
    • Work on tasks collaboratively or independently.
    • Take responsibility for achieving assigned goals, maintaining focus during stressful periods or when deadlines are short.
    • Work within a team of diverse skills and experience levels.
    • Understand the importance of HIPAA guidelines.
  • General Responsibilities:
    • Set up test apparatus and conduct tests of production assemblies and units following established methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.
    • Lay out and assemble units for production equipment according to designs and specifications.
    • Adjust and calibrate systems as needed.
    • Modify equipment by adding, removing, or altering components based on predetermined diagrams and sketches.
    • Correct malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed.
    • Use hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices to perform job duties.
    • Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Technician Support Career Stream

  • Technical Support:
    • Provide technical support in production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement, or product development.
    • Use schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components, equipment, or systems.
    • Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data using established formulae and procedures, and perform detailed mathematical calculations.
    • Suggest and/or make improvements to optimize work processes (for higher levels).
