Playground Construction and Sports Court Surfacing Specialist

Job Description:
We are looking for an individual interested in and/or experienced in Playground Construction and/or Sports Court Surfacing to execute the construction of playgrounds, concrete work, and sports court surfacing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in these areas, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work in a bilingual environment (English and Spanish).
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and execute the construction of playgrounds, including the installation of playground equipment and safety surfacing.
- Install and maintain sports court surfaces, including basketball courts, tennis courts, and multi-use sports areas.
- Perform high-quality concrete finishing for various projects, ensuring smooth and durable surfaces.
- Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and subcontractors in both English and Spanish.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in playground construction, concrete finishing, and / or sports court surfacing.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to read and comprehend installation instructions and layout drawings.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to drive and / or operate lulls, manlifts, bobcats, and various other pieces of heavy equipment as needed.
- Ability to perform manual labor that will require operating in an outdoor environment.
- Must be willing to travel.
