Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Program Manager shall have demonstrated experience providing administrative oversight, corporate management, and ability to provide overall technical, schedule, and cost direction. 
  • Proven ability to lead and direct challenging projects and execute Assignments independently within the scope of the contract.
  • Establish and maintain schedules, and ensure quality delivery in accordance with customer and stakeholder needs 
  • Actively communicate with clients to understand and define current needs and priorities 
  • Manage budgets, prepare cost estimates, and track resources using financial management tools 
  • Perform continuous risk assessment and mitigation; work with management to identify and remove resource, feasibility, and technical barriers that can impede development 
  • Maintain a positive, results-oriented work environment by building partnerships with internal and external partners 
  • Manage direct reports as well as a matrixed team, leading cross-disciplinary efforts to develop, iterate, and refine digital solutions
  • Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, innovation, and excellence in the work environment and continuously elevate the quality and caliber of the organization

Qualifications

  • Top Secret Security Clearance required
  • Must be within a commutable distance to Dahlgren, VA to visit customer site/s.
  • 10 years of management experience, with 5 years involving Federal Government programs
  • Superior verbal, written, organizational, and time management skills, as well as attention to detail
  • Ability to think creatively (independently or in a group setting) and provide unique solutions and rationale for solutions to clients’ communications challenges/problems
  • Ability to quickly understand problems, synthesize large amounts of information, and provide succinct recommendations that tie back to overall account communication strategies and tactics
  • This position is contingent upon contract award.

Standing in work areas and walking between work areas will be required. This position requires an employee to occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance; reach, push, and pull drawers and doors open and closed. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
