Hi.  We are Sean and Cheryl Miller, owners of All American Fence and Gate.  We are looking for someone who would like to join our small, but growing, family-owned business on a full time basis as a Permitting Administrator and Bookkeeper.

First, a little bit about us:  We moved to Florida 13 years ago and now live in Cape Coral.  Five years ago, when we were looking to install a fence, we realized that there was a demand for a company that actually answers the phone, communicates with its customers, is professional and offers great customer service with a fair price.  Being entrepreneurs at heart, we started All American Fence and Gate.  Since then, our company has grown and expanded to three counties. We believe that our growth is due to our superior customer service, constant communication, attention to details, superior fencing materials, expert installation, and professionalism.

We have a large family, 5 adult daughters and 6 grandchildren.  We enjoy being outdoors and have a camp in the middle of the state that we visit on weekends where we ride ATVs and Sean hunts.

What we are looking for:  We are looking for someone who is very knowledgeable in all aspects of bookkeeping including, A/R, A/P, payroll, reconciliation, and billing. You must be very proficient with Quickbooks, detail oriented and have superior customer service skills.  You should be friendly, outgoing, organized and have a passion for providing our customers with superior service.  You must be willing to learn all aspects of the permitting process. We need someone who can take direction and run with it and can also think on their own.  We want someone who will become an active part of our team.

Skills needed:  Quickbooks, Bookkeeping, Computer skills and the ability to learn our software systems, communication skills both verbally and written, detail oriented, and can work independently.

Job Description:  Directly responsible for all daily billing, A/P, A/R, and payroll. Responsible for all aspects of the permitting process associated with the jurisdictions assigned to you.

Our expectations: We don’t expect you to know about the fencing industry or the programs we use in our business processes. We do not expect that you know all the rules or processes for permitting. What we do expect is that you have the desire and ability to learn how to do it and become extremely proficient at it. We also expect that the person we hire will have a positive attitude and portray a friendly and professional representation of our company.
