In addition to core shipping duties, you will also be responsible for providing fingerprinting, passport photo, and notary services to customers.

Responsibilities:

1.    Package Processing:

o    Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments.

o    Prepare and package items for outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.

o    Operate shipping equipment such as scales, label printers, and packaging tools.

2.    Customer Service:

o    Assist customers with shipping inquiries, including pricing, tracking, and delivery options.

o    Provide guidance on shipping regulations and requirements.

o    Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.

3.    Fingerprinting Services:

o    Perform fingerprinting services for customers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.

o    Maintain confidentiality and security of all client information during the fingerprinting process.

4.    Passport Photo Services:

o    Take and produce high-quality passport photos that meet government specifications.

o    Ensure proper lighting, composition, and adherence to required guidelines.

5.    Notary Services:

o    Provide notary services for customers, verifying the authenticity of signatures on legal documents.

o    Maintain a record of notarized documents and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

6.    Inventory Management:

o    Maintain accurate inventory records of shipping materials and supplies.

o    Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as necessary.

o    Organize and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

7.    Data Entry and Documentation:

o    Accurately enter shipment information into the UPS tracking system.

o    Prepare shipping labels, invoices, and other necessary documentation.

o    Verify the accuracy of shipping orders and update records as needed.

8.    Team Collaboration:

o    Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient shipping operations.

o    Participate in training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on company policies and procedures.

o    Assist with other warehouse duties as required, such as sorting and loading packages.

9.    Safety and Compliance:

o    Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

o    Comply with UPS standards and regulations for shipping and handling packages.

Qualifications:

·  Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

·  Experience: Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a warehouse environment is preferred. Experience in fingerprinting, passport photo, or notary services is a plus.

·  Skills:

o    Strong organizational and time-management skills.

o    Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipments.

o    Basic computer skills, including familiarity with shipping software and systems.

o    Good communication and interpersonal skills.

o    Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

·  Certifications: Notary Public certification (if applicable) or willingness to obtain certification.

·  Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move packages up to 70 pounds and stand for extended periods.
