Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract in Wyandotte, MI This position does have the possibility of an extension to be offered.

Shift Details: Rotating Shifts 9a-9p M-F, 8a-430p Weekends, 2-8's and 2-12's per week for 40 hours total.

Pay Rate: $53.00/hour

Position Details:

Using the magnetic resonance imaging scanner to create a diagnostic image for the physician, maintain imaging equipment to ensure patients are protected and in an optimal position for imaging, work closely with the physician by taking medical histories, keeping records and adjusting the scanner as directed.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree in Applied Science
  • 2 years of experience as a Technologist in Imaging Services preferred
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography.
  • Transfer to an alternate role in another modality such as General X-ray or CT may be offered depending on the candidate’s ability to meet minimum job requirements, availability of open positions, and requires the approval of the area’s supervisor, manager, and/or department director;
  • Completion of an accredited MRI program and ARRT registered in MRI.
  • RequiredCertifications & Licenses:ARRTBLS (CPR)Registered by the American Registry
  • GE Experience Preferred
  • Customer Service/Computer Skills required
  • BLS Required
  • in/out patient facility - prior hospital experience required
