Role Description

We have an opportunity for the right individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk. This is full-time on-site role at America's Office Source in Altamonte Springs, FL. The Accounting Clerk is an essential part of our team and will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks including but not limited to, providing excellent customer service, internally and externally while responding to accounting inquiries, creating and maintaining customer and vendor information within the accounting software system including updating information as needed such as tax-exempt status and certifications, change of banking information as well as compiling D&B reports for credit review and serve as a point of contact to advise and assist on customer credit holds. This individual will also facilitate the completion of accounts receivable transactions for daily billing while reviewing for discrepancies with a high level of detail prior to posting those transactions. Facilitate the completion and distribution of monthly invoicing and statements and assist with accounts payable functions as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of experience in accounting role
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with emphasis in A/R
  • A/P experience a plus
  • Advanced computer sills with an emphasis on Excel functions
  • Previous experience in Oracle software a plus
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining organization and prioritize workload as necessary
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset with an aptitude for numbers and problem solving
