Kassirer Sports is run by a former professional Wimbledon tennis player.
We are hiring skilled, youth sports coaches to teach after school sports classes at Folsom, Rocklin and Carmichael elementary schools. We are hiring coaches to teach: Basketball, Tennis, Soccer and Pickleball classes at local elementary schools. Students are ages 5-10.

Sessions start in Septmber and October and coincide with the school year.

Each class is 1.25 hours.

Sample Folsom Schedule: Monday,Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays 2:35pm-3:50pm; Thursdays 1:10pm-2:25pm.
Sample Rocklin Schedule: Mondays 1:10pm-2:25pm; Tuesday - Fridays: 2:45pm-4pm
Sample Carmichael Schedule: Tuesday - Wednesday: 3:25pm-4:40pm. Thursdays: 1:55pm-3:10pm.

Coaches can teach 1-5 days per week, based on your availability.

Requirements to Coach:

  • 17 years of age or older
  • Have your own transportation
  • Skilled athlete in sport(s) you want to coach - beginners and novice athletes.
  • Positive, Patient, enthusiastic demeanor
  • Punctual and able to commit to a schedule.
  • Enjoys being around kids and is confident in managing a group of 15-20 kids
  • No coaching experience required; if you are 20 years of age or older.
    • (if you are 17-19 you must have some experience working with youth)
  • Clear DOJ finger printing with no priors


We Provide:

  • training on how to run classes and lesson plans
  • kid sized equipment
  • all admin
  • rosters
  • schedules based around your availability


Pay:

  • $32-$40 per hour depending upon experience. (1.25 hour shifts per day, including 15 minutes of set-up)
  • Coaches are hired as part time employees Coaches earn 1 hour of Paid Sick Leave for every 30 hours working.
  • We pay out any PTO earned, as a bonus at the end of the year, if it's not taken.
  • Coaches are paid by direct deposit every 2 weeks.
  • Reimbursement for Live Scan finger printing which is required prior to starting
  • Option: if you own a company, we can hire your company to provide coaches (you and any others) as an independent contractor.

We run classes all over San Fran Bay and Sacramento throughout the school year. We are scheduling coaches now for classes meeting in the 2024-2025 school year. We are also hiring sports coaches to teach in the San Francisco East Bay and South Bay.

This is a great job for someone looking for part time hours, such as a college student or a full time coach, or a trainer, or anyone with part-time availability.
