Leading Commercial Interiors TI firm in Southern California is seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager. The PM will provide high level support to Clients face to face and onsite. The role will oversee all aspects from preconstruction to finished project.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within, and across, multiple projects
- Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with outside resources—including third-party vendors and researchers
- Communicates with clients and delivers project progress reports.
- Develops and adheres to the budget, timeline, and quality control plan.
- Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that project team adheres to project requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments
- Collaborates with architects, engineers, electricians, and other specialists.
- Ensures that all local, state, and national building codes and regulations and safety precautions are followed.
Education & Requirements:
- 5-7 years+ of construction management experience in the commercial tenant improvement/interiors space.
- Proficiet with MS Office Suite and Procur preferred
- Ability to read blueprints
- Bachelor’s degree in construction science and management, engineering, architecture, business administration, or a related degree preferred, but not required.
- Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Outreach Training
- Construction Project Management certification preferred
