Maintenance Technician

Hours:

  • Full time
  • Training Schedule (1 month): Monday-Friday – 7:00am-3:30pm
  • After Training: Tuesday-Saturday - 11:30am – 8:00pm

Job Requirements:

  • Operate equipment and deliver vehicles for maintenance
  • Frequent bending, standing, stooping, stretching, and lifting
  • Ability to lift heavy objects 50 – 100 lbs. assisted, such as appliances and furniture
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders and access all areas of the buildings
  • Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations
  • Preventative maintenance and repair work
  • Respond to requests for emergency maintenance and repairs, implement routine and preventative maintenance of all equipment systems and fixtures in the building and on the grounds
  • Work under the Services Supervisor and accept instructions and assignments from the Assistant Supervisor
  • Make determination, in the absence of the Supervisor or Assistant Supervisor, that the “beeper person” should be called
  • To clearly understand and participate in the proper communication system set up by the Maintenance Department

Pay Rate:

  • $22/hr
