The BSN SPORTS Warehouse team is looking for a Warehouse Associate in McClellan Park, CA for 2nd shift, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm.

Peak Season (July-December) Requirements:

  • Shift hours Monday through Friday (2:00pm – 10:30) 
  • Mandatory overtime which may include weekends

Job Responsibilities for Warehouse Associate:

·        Receives incoming materials and compares information on work order to verify accuracy.

·        Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor.

·        Ensure correct boxes are used, as per customer specifications.

·        Traces lost shipments and/or customer claims of lost shipments; initiates proof of delivery documents.

·        May operate dolly, pallet jack, may operate shrink wrap machine.

·        Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety standards.

·        Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

·        Receiver is responsible for the cleanliness of their work area during production and at each shift end. Floors need to be swept, all trash should be picked up and empty boxes need to be properly disposed of. Must wear the proper personal protective equipment, (if required), while working in shipping area.

·       Read and comprehend documents, instructions, and correspondence in English to perform job duties efficiently.

·       Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders in spoken English, ensuring clarity and understanding.

·       Participate in meetings, discussions, and presentations requiring proficient spoken English skills.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing valuable insights and feedback in English.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or General education degree (GED).
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to follow orders and proper machine operating. Learn tasks quickly, be detailed, accuracy-driven, personable, team-oriented, and punctual with excellence in attendance.

 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for long periods of time. The position requires lifting of no less than 15-40 lbs. on a regular basis.
