Responsibilities:

  1. Manage day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing low voltage equipment and products.
  2. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are sufficient to meet project requirements.
  3. Supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  4. Coordinate with project managers and field technicians to ensure timely delivery of equipment to job sites.
  5. Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for warehouse staff.
  6. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficiency measures to optimize warehouse operations.
  7. Collaborate with purchasing and procurement teams to forecast inventory needs and manage vendor relationships.
  8. Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies and minimize inventory shrinkage.
  9. Utilize warehouse management software to track inventory movements and generate reports as needed.
  10. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space to facilitate efficient operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in warehouse management, preferably in the low voltage or technology industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment preferred.
