Responsibilities of this position include:
· The directing, coordinating, maintaining and controlling of our accounting system that properly reflects the financial position of the Company.
· Monitoring Department policies and procedures and recommending improvements, consulting with Senior Management Team, participating in establishing and implementing major goals and objective and serve as a resource in all aspects of accounting.
· Ensure accurate internal and external recording and reporting of financial transactions.
· Overseeing budgeting, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed asset management etc.
· Ensure accounting activities are in accordance with established legal, regulatory, and Company policy.
· Assign and direct and appraise accounting staff.
The ideal candidate would have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or related field; CPA preferred. Have a thorough knowledge of financial and accounting practices and procedures and understand governmental regulations and reporting requirements. They would understand the related auditing and IT functions as well as have a broad -based knowledge of the entrepreneurial business environment. Five or more years of high-level accounting experience and three or more years of supervisory experience is preferred.
