Machine Repair Technician

A manufacturing company in Racine, WI is looking for Machine Repair Technicians to join their 2nd shift team. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity

Requirements of the Machine Repair Technician

  • 5+ years of hands-on Machine Repair experience in a Machine Shop, covering hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical controls
  • Experience working in a Machine Shop environment
  • Experience with CNC Mills and Lathes, Grinding, and Press Room equipment
  • Ability to set up and operate a variety of equipment including Tool Room equipment to fabricate parts as needed

Responsibilities of the Machine Repair Technician

  • Troubleshoot and repair simple and complex machine malfunctions related to electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic controls
  • Install, Set -Up, Teardown, Remove, and/or Relocate machinery throughout the plant as needed
  • Perform planned, preventative maintenance and repair of machinery and machinery-related equipment for the entire plant (some machinery includes but is not limited to: CNC mills & lathes, Broaching machines, Hobbs & Shapers, Punch Press, Parts Washer, etc.)
  • Utilize tool room equipment to fabricate replacement parts when necessary

2nd shift, DIRECT HIRE

Pay is $33.00 - $35.00 an hour, depending on experience
