The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of our construction projects from small handy man calls to full rehabs. This includes finding and managing crews, bidding on jobs, and overseeing project budgets. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong background in project management, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Crew Management: Identify, hire, and manage subcontractors and crews for various projects. Ensure all team members are well-coordinated and have the resources needed to complete their tasks.
- Job Bidding: Prepare and submit detailed and competitive bids for potential projects. Conduct thorough site visits and assessments to ensure accurate bid proposals.
- Budget Oversight: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints. Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures as needed.
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, schedules, and resource allocation. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Communication: Serve as the main point of contact between clients, subcontractors, and the company. Maintain open and effective communication to address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Address any client concerns and ensure their needs are met.
- Quality Control: Oversee the quality of work performed by crews and subcontractors. Ensure all work complies with industry standards, company policies, and client expectations.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, including safety standards and building codes.
- Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports for management and clients. Track project milestones and deliverables, providing updates as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, preferably in single-family home projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
