This position will be entrusted with managing a portfolio of 125-150 prospective donors cultivating meaningful relationships and securing the critical financial support that fuels our initiatives and creates lasting change.
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., non-profit management, development, fundraising) or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 1 years of experience in fundraising within the non-profit sector.
- Possess a proven track record of success in securing philanthropic gifts.
- Demonstrate experience in Annual Giving and Sustaining Giving.
- Craft compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the impact of major gifts and inspire impactful giving.
- Proven track record of success in securing philanthropic gifts, exceeding fundraising goals, and achieving financial impact.
- Strong understanding of the philanthropic landscape, current trends, and best practices.
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strategic thinking and analytical abilities, with a data-driven approach to fundraising.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for our mission and a commitment to social justice and positive change.
- Ability to appropriately handle and protect confidential information required.
- Hybrid and expected to be in the office 2 days per week or as needed.
- Availability to work non-standard hours, including attendance at evening and weekend events required.
