Lead a team of 15+ interior and exterior door assemblers and oversee the successful production of pre- hung doors. Develop a personal and professional relationship with each assembler that leads to retention and exceptional quality.

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Personally coach each assembler to identify opportunities for improvement and actively provide the training/coaching needed to help them reach their highest potential and performance
  • Keep production on schedule with committed delivery dates to customers
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
  • Oversee receiving and proper storage of material
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
  • Work closely with sales team and production manager to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate inventory records
  • Maintain equipment as needed (Experience with Norfield machines is a plus)
  • Ensure payroll accuracy for employees
  • Assist customers with placing and loading will call orders
  • Monitor production and receiving for quality control
  • Assist with yearly inventory counts
  • Know, support, and enforce company policies

Qualifications:

  • 3+ Years in operations and/or manufacturing required
  • 3+ Years in a leadership role preferred
  • Must be able to lead others
  • Must be able to communicate effectively
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Detail Oriented
  • Bi-Lingual English & Spanish is a plus
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment, handling materials, and operating forklifts
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for assembly and fabrication

Requirements

  • Arrival is required at 7:00 am and will work until 5:00 pm (Some days may be earlier or later)
  • Will require some light travel as needed
