A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SITE CONSTRUCTION MANAGER / PROJECT SUPERVISOR
In the role of Site Construction Manager / Project Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in all stages of the construction project, from initial planning to final completion. Your responsibilities will include closely monitoring daily project operations, with a focus on budgeting, timelines, and health/safety compliance. You will appreciate the diverse nature of your work and find fulfillment in collaborating with others to complete projects efficiently and within budget, all while enhancing JL Construction's reputation for quality.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SITE CONSTRUCTION MANAGER / PROJECT SUPERVISOR
- Degree in construction engineering management, civil engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience in excavation or horizontal construction
- Ability to interpret bid documents, plans, and other related project/construction documents
- Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health regulations for construction sites
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn industry-specific software
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to travel locally to various job sites and meetings as required
WORK SCHEDULE
This full-time salaried position typically operates during daytime hours, Monday through Friday.
