BI Dashboard Report

 

We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Intelligence Dashboard Developer to join our team. As a Business Intelligence Dashboard Developer, you will play a vital role in creating and managing data solutions that address a wide range of business challenges.

Your responsibilities will include designing, coding, and testing modifications and enhancements to our existing systems with a strong focus on reliability and efficiency.

Requirements:

 

Proven experience as a Data Engineer/ETL Developer/BI Dashboard

Strong proficiency in designing, coding, and testing modifications to existing systems

Excellent knowledge of data transformation and ETL processes

Familiarity with a variety of data sources and databases

Solid understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Effective communication and collaboration abilities

Duties:

• Translate business needs to technical specifications

• Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)

• 3+ years SQL development experience

• Create and Maintain SSIS and ADF Data Pipelines

• Assisting in Modeling and populating Enterprise Data Warehouse

• Evaluate and improve existing BI systems

• Collaborate with teams to integrate systems

• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses

• Develop and update technical documentation

 

Requirements

• Proven experience as a SSIS/ETL/Data Engineer

• 3+ years of Data Pipelines, ETL using SSIS, Azure Data Factory.

• Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining

• In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework

• Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Tableau)

• Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

• Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative

• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering

• 5+ years of Business Intelligence experience

• 3+ years of working with Power BI

• Strong SQL Server experience, 2016+ preferred

• 5+ years Performance Tuning experience required

• Experience in all stages of BI project work (requirement definition and logical design, physical design, implementation, testing, and deployment)

• Database design or integration experience with SQL Server databases; Relational Database and SQL Language

• Data Cube, Data Mart, and Data Warehouse / Solution Design

• Analytics / OLAP Cube Development (On Premise and Cloud Data Model)

• Microsoft SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI

• Support the solution proactively

• Research issues and perform root cause analysis

• Raise issues and follow-up to ensure both resolution and necessary communication

• Assist with documentation of change impacts and training of end users

• Fulfill ad-hoc report requests for the supported business stream(s) as required using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau

 

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicate all issues, risks, concerns and status to management, business partners and other departments in a timely manner

• Work with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across departments

• Delivering BI / DW solutions to end users

• Ensure Compliance and IT governance methods, processes, and tools are followed/used

 

Experience:

• Experience with Data Warehousing and Healthcare

• Experience in software development life cycle

• IT business analyst with experience in documenting and managing requirements

• Experience with both traditional Waterfall SDLC and Agile / Lean methodologies

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience in a technical or business discipline.

• 3+ years of proven Report Development using Power BI, with recent Power BI Pro experience on the Cloud

 

Education:

 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields
