Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Hours: 7 am or 8 am start time, 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday, occasional over-time

What’s a typical day as a Maintenance Technician? You’ll be:
• Dismantling machinery, equipment, and parts using hand tools.
• Inspecting parts to determine salvage ability and method of repair.
• Operating metal-working tools to repair parts.
• Verifying dimensions and tolerances using blueprints and precision measuring instruments.
• Reassembling parts using hand tools and power tools.
• Operating a forklift to move and replace heavy machines and machine parts.
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations.
• Working from ladders and/or scaffolds when necessary.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Have one to six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Have basic computer skills.
• Are a certified forklift operator.
• Have completed safety training at all levels.
• Have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
• Have the ability to analyze and troubleshoot various equipment and components.
• Know servo drives, HMI functions, VFD's, hydraulic valves, pneumatic cylinders, PLCs, and other relevant equipment.
• Have physical capabilities including good vision, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and ability to stand for extended periods.
• Have the ability to work near moving mechanical parts and in environments with fumes or airborne particles.
• Have the ability to work in a moderately noisy environment.
