Where You Will Work
Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing (CAM) is the primary division of Stanley Black & Decker Aerospace.

We are a leading innovator and strategic partner in the manufacturing of fasteners, fittings, and engineered products for the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets.

CAM is currently comprised of nine subsidiaries across the United States split among three segments.

The Tool & Die Maker will be responsible supporting stamping press and assembly operations by working with operators and others to address issues on the shop floor.

Make and repair production tooling and equipment parts to support manufacturing.

  • Perform all tasks involved in producing, repairing, and troubleshooting stamping dies and tooling.
  • Disassemble tooling to determine causes of problems.
  • Study CAD or hard copy part drawings to determine sequence of fabricating operations and best machines to use for creating each shape and dimension for assigned parts.
  • Familiar enough with G-Code to edit a program and compute dimensions, sizes, shapes, and tolerances of tooling based on specifications given on part drawing.
  • Fit and assemble fixture parts to make, repair, or modify dies, jigs, gages, and tools, using machine tools and hand tools as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education and experience: 3+ years of Tool & Die related experience
  • Experience with grinding, milling, drilling
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Ability to read basic measuring devices
  • Displays knowledge and understanding of tooling processes including operation, maintenance, repair, design, production prep, etc.
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a fastpaced manufacturing/production environment
