Job Title: Customer Service Representative – Auto Industry

Location: Fort Worth, TX - near Keller

Pay Rate: $20-21/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: 8 AM - 6 PM (8-hour shift)

CornerStone Staffing is looking for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to join a team on a long-term assignment in the auto industry. If you're ready to take the next step in your career, this opportunity is for you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Begin as a Customer Service Phone Agent handling inbound calls and inquiries.

  • Transition to making calls on early-stage delinquencies and collecting payments on live and terminated accounts.

  • Use various methods such as phone pay, quick collect, and written correspondence to collect payments for past due balances, including lease-end charges (mileage, wear and tear, property tax), deficiency balances from repossessions, or outstanding amounts from total losses.

  • Negotiate payment solutions for customers needing assistance and follow up on expired payment arrangements or pending actions.

  • Provide excellent customer service while addressing inquiries from both external and internal customers.

  • Manage a queue of assigned accounts and track progress diligently.

  • Perform skip tracing activities to locate customers and assets, and assign repossessions as necessary.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve escalated customer complaints and issues.

  • Offer feedback on process improvements and training materials to enhance team performance.

  • Ensure all actions are in line with corporate standards and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service and/or collections environment preferred.

  • Knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to handle challenging situations.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
