Our client is seeking a Senior Revenue Accounting Manager. You’ll play a pivotal role in leading the revenue accounting function, driving our commitment to excellence. Your responsibilities extend beyond precise revenue recognition. Join this company in shaping a financial landscape defined by accuracy, efficiency, and unparalleled excellence. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $150,000 to $160,000 per year. This position is hybrid with 3 days onsite.
Responsibilities:
Spearhead the design, implementation, and execution of scalable processes to optimize financial close and control efficiency.
Reconcile and investigate outstanding accounts receivable balances, proactively addressing and resolving discrepancies.
Facilitate a smooth billing process through effective communication and cooperation with various stakeholders.
Create and maintain monthly balance sheet account reconciliations related to revenue.
Prepare journal entries, meticulously review and approve entries, and ensure timely completion of account reconciliations from direct reports.
Requirements:
Expertise in advanced Excel functions, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
Ability to analyze transactional details within an enterprise resource planning system and articulate key findings to management.
Robust problem-solving aptitude, capable of identifying root causes and recommending effective solutions.
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
5+ years of accounting experience in CPG/Retail/Ecommerce.
