Digital Court Reporter, Stenographer
EXCITING PROFESSIONAL CAREER OPPORTUNITY
Florida’s fastest-growing litigation support provider seeks to establish lasting partnerships with experienced digital court reporters and stenographers.
Experienced reporters only
Full-time court reporters earn an average income of $65,000, with uncapped earning potential exceeding $100,000.
Our highly experienced support staff provides scheduling, transcript production, and IT support.
We equip all team members with comprehensive training to familiarize reporters with our software and procedural systems.
● Generous $2,000 structured incentive for reporters with qualified experience
● An additional $1,000 incentive for certified reporters
● Transparent and timely pay process (twice a month)
● Monthly reimbursement for parking expenses, cell phone usage, notary, and certification costs
Note: As an independent (1099) contractor with Universal Court Reporting, Inc., you will have greater flexibility and control over your schedule, empowering you to manage your work-life balance.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
● Interacting with attorneys, judges, and other legal professionals
● Participating in legal proceedings, either remotely via Zoom or in-person
● Capturing the verbatim record of legal proceedings
● Producing and proofreading legal transcripts
● Handling confidential information
● Administering the oath to witnesses
● Adhering to deadlines
Skills & Requirements of a Digital Court Reporter:
● Typing proficiency of at least 50+ words per minute
● Ability to obtain a Florida Notary Commission (we assist and cover the expense)
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
● Punctuality and time management skills
● Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
● Strong command of English grammar and mechanics
● Proficient in utilizing various technological tools and software applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Outlook
● AAERT or NCRA certification (preferred)

Education/Experience:
● High school Diploma (required)
● Prior court reporting experience
