This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, performing water testing and analysis, assisting and troubleshooting customer needs. Must be willing to undergo Drug Screening and Background Check.
To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to learn and retain information quickly and perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The ideal candidate will be well organized, eager to learn and grow within the company, a self-starter, and possess a positive working attitude. On the job training will be provided.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :**
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Perform water testing and analysis, as needed, for customers.
Assist customers with purchases and help carry purchases to the car.
Ensure the store is clean at all times including but not limited to: straighten and dusting shelves, vacuum and mopping floors, keeping displays and counter area clean, breaking down cardboard boxes and taking trash to dumpster.
Manage phone calls and E-mails.
Any other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
HS Diploma or equivalent. Previous retail and/or pool supply experience is a mandatory. Excellent customer service skills required. Must be willing to undergo Drug Screening and Background Check.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:
The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. The position requires constant walking, bending and lifting. Ability to answer phones and perform functions on a computer necessary when interacting with customers and or the corporate office.
