This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in electrical systems, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage large-scale electrical projects from conception through to completion.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets and ensure adherence to these throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Manage and oversee project team members, providing guidance, support, and mentorship as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards for electrical systems.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identify and resolve issues, and escalate as necessary.
- Conduct regular meetings with project team members and stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.
- Manage project risks and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that promotes teamwork and high performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in electrical engineering or construction, with a minimum of 8 years managing large-scale projects.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, and maintenance.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
- Experience working in [specific industry or sector related to the company’s field] is a plus.
