As a Electrical Project Coordinator at Helix Electric, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Project Manager with electrical construction initiatives. This position serves as a vital link between the field operations and the administrative office. Your primary responsibility will be to outline the project's goals by planning, executing, and finalizing tasks in accordance with the established timeline while adhering to budgetary constraints.

This position requires on-site full-time commitment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide direct assistance to the senior project management team in large-scale commercial and private electrical construction projects.
  • Build and nurture project teams to ensure high-quality deliverables, meet client expectations, manage project scope, and achieve timely and budget-compliant outcomes.
  • Formulate and enhance project management strategies, including scheduling objectives, procurement processes, contractual obligations, personnel assignments, and resource allocation.
  • Assess and continuously refine the systems and procedures utilized by the department to effectively fulfill client needs and profitability targets, with a focus on robust internal tracking methodologies.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a project engineer in large-scale commercial/private electrical construction.
  • Comprehension of engineering principles related to electrical power.
  • Hands-on experience collaborating with construction management teams.
  • Thorough understanding of project scheduling, bidding processes, take-offs, change orders, and contractual agreements.
  • Proven ability to cultivate relationships and contribute to securing projects.
  • Demonstrated capability to support the management of a profitable project portfolio.
  • Outstanding initiative, execution, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional analytical, motivational, and leadership abilities.
  • Degrees in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management are highly preferred.
  • Possession of a Journeyman or Master Electrician's license is advantageous.

The starting annual base salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to $80,000. The actual salary will be influenced by various factors, including location, training, transferable skills, work experience, business requirements, and market conditions. This salary range is subject to change and may be adjusted in the future. The role may also qualify for a vehicle allowance, bonuses, and additional benefits.
