We are looking for 4-6 Chicago-based owner-operators to help with overflow. Must be flexible and reliable. As a driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to their destination. The owner-operators we're seeking must have a car, SUV, Cargo Van, or Sprinter. Owners of cargo vans and Sprinters must have 100/300 auto liability and 100K cargo insurance to haul our heavier freight. Verifiable insurance is a must. ALL OF OUR WORK IS OUT OF CHICAGO. This is 1099 work.

Responsibilities:

  • Manually load light freight occasionally (50 lbs or less)
  • Unload cargo from the vehicle utilizing a hand truck, portable forklift, etc.
  • A GPS device in addition to a cellphone is helpful
  • Know how to navigate lease roads
  • Be familiar with securing loads

Requirements:

  • Must have proven experience as a delivery driver or something similar
  • Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
  • Must be able to communicate using oral and basic written communication (text, email, etc)
  • Must be able to pass Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol screening and participate in the random testing pool
  • You communicate your availability and we will work you into our overflow freight.
  • Cell Phone is REQUIRED
  • TSA OR TWIC helpful, but not necessary
  • Verifiable insurance is manadatory
