SUMMARY:
Compiles payroll data to maintain payroll records by performing the following duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Responsible for verifying & reconciling data in payroll clocking system, time off reports and expense reports for biweekly payroll.
- Responsible for processing payroll in both Construction Accounting and ADP biweekly.
- Responsible for editing and maintaining employee data in both Construction Accounting and ADP
- Responsible for Certified Payroll reporting to customers who require such; as well as calculation of prevailing wages rates and hours for required jobs.
- Responsible for verifying and approving time for temp agencies.
- Responsible for submission of data to Insurance & Prevailing wage retirement fund.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
- Two to three years payroll experience preferred.
- A proven track record of success that includes administrative management, facilities, creative problem-solving and business partner experience is desired.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external organizations, groups, team members and individuals.
- Prior experience or training.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
