We are looking for someone who can work 2:45pm- 7:30pm  2-3 days per week, and occasional Saturdays. This position would also be utilized as backup coverage or staff outages.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong attention to detail, and be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with standing and walking required.
  • Must have a pleasant and professional telephone manner; possess strong communication skills; and be dependable, efficient, and organized.
  • Professional appearance and manner.
  • Computer skills (Windows, MS Office, and healthcare-specific software), working with online insurance eligibility and benefits, spreadsheets, and electronic fax.
  • Experience working in the medical field is a plus.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus

Chiropractic Office Receptionist Job Duties:

  • Welcomes and greets patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
  • Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment area utilization by setting up therapy and scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
  • Keeps patient appointments on schedule.
  • Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties and answering patients' questions.
  • Maintaining the reception, front desk, and therapy areas, including laundry and general upkeep of office appearance.
  • Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
  • Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
  • Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information; recording and collecting patient charges.
  • Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies and giving supply orders to the office manager.
  • Assist the doctors in setting up therapies, preparing files, and preparing exam and consultation rooms.
  • Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
