Part-Time Chiropractic Receptionist

Great work environment Fun and energetic people We are looking for someone to join our group.
We are looking for someone who can work 2:45pm- 7:30pm 2-3 days per week, and occasional Saturdays. This position would also be utilized as backup coverage or staff outages.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong attention to detail, and be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with standing and walking required.
- Must have a pleasant and professional telephone manner; possess strong communication skills; and be dependable, efficient, and organized.
- Professional appearance and manner.
- Computer skills (Windows, MS Office, and healthcare-specific software), working with online insurance eligibility and benefits, spreadsheets, and electronic fax.
- Experience working in the medical field is a plus.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
Chiropractic Office Receptionist Job Duties:
- Welcomes and greets patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
- Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment area utilization by setting up therapy and scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
- Keeps patient appointments on schedule.
- Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties and answering patients' questions.
- Maintaining the reception, front desk, and therapy areas, including laundry and general upkeep of office appearance.
- Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
- Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
- Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information; recording and collecting patient charges.
- Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies and giving supply orders to the office manager.
- Assist the doctors in setting up therapies, preparing files, and preparing exam and consultation rooms.
- Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
