Job Summary:

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the company’s inventory levels. This includes tracking shipments, overseeing stock levels, and ensuring the accuracy of records. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

    • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records.
    • Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
    • Update inventory systems with incoming and outgoing goods.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures.
    • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
    • Label and store inventory in appropriate locations.
    • Ensure that stock is organized, accessible, and properly rotated.
    • Process orders and manage stock replenishment based on production needs and sales forecasts.
    • Communicate with suppliers and vendors to resolve any issues with shipments or orders.
    • Prepare and maintain detailed inventory reports for management.
    • Identify trends and recommend solutions to reduce inventory costs and improve efficiency.
    • Assist with audits and provide data as required.
    • Adhere to all safety and regulatory requirements in handling inventory.
    • Ensure that all inventory practices are in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items when necessary.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must have 2 years or more of experience

Shift:

Monday-Friday-6 am-until completion
